Oliveri History

Post World War II, Grandfather Giuseppe Oliveri immigrated to Australia. In 1950 he was joined by his family, and together they pooled their resources to acquire the Route 41 Service Licence, along with one motor omnibus in November 1954.

Giuseppe, together with his sons Giovanni, Francesco and Rocco, operated a bus service to Liverpool from Bonnyrigg. As the Green Valley Housing Commission estates developed, so did the demand for public transport. This urban development in the sixties and seventies promoted business growth and development.

In June 1962 Oliveri Transport Service was incorporated and their service operation grew.
Today the family company is operated by the second generation and we are proud to be associated with our partners in West bus , Hopkinsons and Busabout to operate the present Region 3 as outlined in our website.
